Wireless Remote Control Crane

What is wireless remote control?

The remote control which works from a remote without a wired system considers wireless. The remote control crane works based on radio waves. This uses artificially generated waves to manipulate to control the machine. It usually includes a transmitter for transmitting data in the form of radio waves in a free area using an antenna closer to the receiver. The receiver then replaces this signal with an antenna and decodes the data. The EOT crane remote control is a fully wireless structure that can transmit and capture data over long distances.

How does crane wireless remote control works?

Crane remote control works based on radio waves. The radio waves are transmitted through the transmitter and after that, it connected through the receiver. Each switch on the hoist crane wireless remote control generates a set of data for the crane receiver. This data is first encrypted and then transmitted to the receiver. As soon as the receiver receives the data, it decodes and decodes the data and switches to a specified relay which will activate the desired switch in the EOT crane control panel. Communication between the transmitter and receiver occurs more than 10 times per second.

The transmitter can continuously monitor many parameters of the the communication link, such as several successful transmissions, received signal strength, link quality indicator, missed packets, etc. Analog transmitters and receivers use automatic frequency hopping to continuously change the transmitting frequency to avoid unwanted radio signal interference and increase crane safety.

Types of wireless remote control for crane

Heavy cranes can be controlled by a device either it can be a wired or wireless system. Nowadays most industries use a wireless remote control to control the cranes. And the overhead crane remote control systems come in various types like 8 buttons radio remote, 12 buttons, joystick radio remote control, etc. The 8 buttons and 12 buttons work in the same scenario as push buttons while Joysticks remote control works a little bit differently.

Joystick Radio remote control

Instead of pushbuttons, machines like cranes, hoists, welding equipment, etc. can be operated using the joystick remote control. The joystick can move in 2 directions: North / South and East / West. Joystick remote control can have up to 5 steps in each direction while pushbuttons can have up to 2 steps. As a result, the machine can operate at 5 different speeds in each direction. The joystick can be configured in various options such as spring return, type of interlock, interlock, analog output, digital output. Joystick analog EOT crane remote control using potentiometer can be used to wirelessly control the speed of the inverter, control the ratio of the hydraulic pump, and more.

Depending on the machine ordered, there may be 1, 2, 3, or 4 dual-axis joysticks or up to 8 single-axis joysticks in remote control. Since the joystick remote control is bulkier than the push-button remote control, the Anand engineering system provides a belt and shoulder strap with the system.

Best quality of Radio remote control for EOT cranes
